Department of Teaching Braille – Braille Certification

In this department, Braille is being taught, totally free of charge, to sighted professionals of different specializations, to students, to educators, and to other special teaching support staff (psychologists, logotherapists, ergotherapists, etc.), who wish to work, or already work with the visually impaired.

In Greece, the only Certified Examination Centre of Braille System, operate in CERB (Athens and Thessaloniki). These certificates are officially recognized. Trainees of CERB, as well as trainees of relevant institutions or governmental bodies, can take the exam.
